This week we’re very excited to announce the launch our latest campaign in conjunction with Shazam - an audio-triggered mobile-only microsite for Azzaro Wanted fragrance for men. This is going out to a South African audience via TV adverts in prime time every evening as well as running through various cable channels around the clock. Clarins want to increased exposure for their latest Azzaro fragrance while building a customer database for future communications. We helped them achieve it.
The user is prompted to Shazam the audio track to reveal the campaign page. From here the user is can watch an uncensored version of the Wanted trailer and share it to Facebook and Twitter. They can also find out more about the ingredients that go into creating the scent, as well as find links to purchase it online. Most importantly, using our Prize Media platform we delivered a prize draw competition matrix with a data capture form. 5 lucky winners will win bottles of the fragrance for free.
Able to react and adjust to international markets, we researched the most used devices in the region to ensure there wasn’t anything too anomalous that would need to be accounted for. South African television audiences were also reviewed in order for us to ensure that we had the best servers to withstand the capacity. Timing gateways also had to be planned with the 2-hour difference in mind.
On the process and launch of the campaign, Shazam said:
"Working with Graphite has made complex HTML5 projects much less of a headache than they have been in the past. Their hard work is always evident, especially when working on strict and limited timelines. They are also on hand to deal with troubleshooting out of hours, which is extremely important when dealing with projects launching across the globe. Every client that has launched one of their projects has been extremely happy with the outcome, so a huge thanks to the team!"
We look forward to more campaigns in collaboration with Shazam in the future.
