Graphite Partners with BIMA for Digital Day

We’re thrilled to announce that Graphite is the official Sussex ambassador for BIMA Digital Day 2016! Now in its fourth year, Digital Day is an exciting event designed to supercharge the next generation of digital talent by putting a creative spin on the ‘careers day’ model. Digital Day partners digital agencies across the country with schools in their areas and puts professionals into the classroom (Year 7 upwards) to challenge, inspire and guide the students through the opportunities available in the digital industry.
It’s not always easy for those outside the industry, and especially for young people looking at their career options to know what the opportunities in digital are, and how they can get started. It’s for that reason that we jumped at the chance to get involved with BIMA to help coordinate the event in our area, using both our great links with the Brighton digital scene and also local school contacts.

This year, Digital Day falls on Tuesday 15th November and will include exclusive content and prizes from some of the best-known brands in the world. The day is a free initiative, so all personnel and resources are provided to schools free of charge. It’s ideal for children aged 12-18 and includes entry into the nationwide competition with a chance to win great prizes. As a participating agency, you’ll be given everything you need to run the day in terms of materials and support from BIMA representatives.
It’s a perfect chance for schools and agencies alike to celebrate the continued success of our digital economy and to prepare our young minds for the future it will bring.
