Graphite Launches Samsung Campaign with Shazam

Graphite is thrilled to announce the launch of Samsung’s ‘Relive The Sounds Of Summer’ campaign in partnership with Shazam. Samsung’s objective is to increase their customer database through a national competition to win some fantastic products. They chose Shazam’s bluetooth beacon technology and Graphite’s Prize Media platform to host the experience, which featured a prize draw to incentivise users to submit their information, and rich media to let participants look back on the best music from summer ‘16.

The journey is centred around the chance to win a Galaxy S7 and Gear VR with a simple data capture form. By selecting ‘Register to Win’ the user is brought to this form which asks for some simple contact details. On submitting they are automatically entered into the prize draw, maintained and executed through Prize Media, for the lucky winner to receive notification via the email address they provided. Elsewhere, users can also view Samsung’s ‘Festival Playlist’ of YouTube videos that recall the sunny highlights of Summer ’16. The user can explore the playlist all from within the campaign page on the Shazam app.

The look and feel of the experience needed to be sleek, clear and easy to use, in order to ensure this we conducted a series of user testing sessions using a test script to ensure that everything was working as anticipated.

It’s getting pretty cold and grey out there, so make a trip into a Samsung Store and relive the sounds of summer. You could be a winner.
